Our Hacienda features: Four masters suites, three elite suites and three junior suites, all equipped with A/C, fans & spacious bathrooms, built with original mayan stones. 
Each suite has its own exquisite decor & is truly a feast for eyes. 
The majestic living room, filled with contemporary paintings, antique mirrors & candelabras, Moroccan chandeliers and exotic hand crafted Mexican furnishings, flows seamlessly into the cozy bar/game room. 
The spectacular atmoshpere of the colonial exterior veranda, overlooking the pool and an avenue of palm trees, is designed for dining at an amazing mahogany table capable of seating up to 14 guests. 
If you prefer to eat in the coolness of the A/C, then the old capilla (chapel), with its original 18th century fresco, is at your disposal. This ancient capilla serves as a restaurant & boutique & features tempting, original, handmade jewelry, clothing, sarongs...etc 

Take a few steps down from the veranda to the Arabic pool, which is in harmony with the surrounding outstanding exotic garden. There, lounge chairs and umbrellas are ready for your relaxation. 

If you prefer the shade, you can chill & enjoy life in the hammock, the goose down pillow sofa, or indoors at the A/C library. 

A Hacienda full of History: 
This renovated Hacienda located in the northern part of Izamal, Yucatan was owned in 1811 by Jose Santiago Contreras. 
In 1861 there are only 25 habitants, of which 11 were men and 14 women. Of these, five men and a women were white people, the rest were indigenous. Only one could read & write. 
From 1897 the owner was Nicanor Ancona y Lizarraga, there were 183 habitants. 
In the beginning of the XX century, the Hacienda received workers from other regions of Mexico: families from San Luis Potossi and Sonora. Their children were born and raised in that same house. 
In August 22, 1949, the image of the immaculate Virgin Mary, was solemnly crowned in the atrium of the Franciscan convent of he ancient city of Izamal. The Virgin Mary was named Señora de Izamal.
